Sheridan Lifts Limited was awarded the contract for the Prince's Dock Project (28 storey residential apartment block) to supply and fit two 5 ton car lifts over 6 floors, complying with the passenger lift directive EN-81. The cost of the sub-contract work was circa £220,000.

From the initial tender period and consultation to the installation of the lifts, Sheridan Lifts were competent and provided the necessary skills to aid in the delivery of this major project.

The sub-contractors package was delivered on time and within the parameters of the project cost profile.

Further to the recent work carried out on our Salford premises we would like to confirm that the project was completed on time and within budget. The project scope included work to two 15 floor lifts during the summer of 2010 and was to replace all electro-mechanical drive components, control panels, floor setting equipment, guide running gear and refurbish car doors, drive gear & car interiors.

The work was completed to the agreed specification and late changes were also accommodated within the programme. Campus Living Villages are fully satisfied with the standard of the refurbishment and finish.

Due to the work matching old and new electro-mechanical systems we experienced some expected issues during the running-in phase. These were attended to swiftly and resolved by significant technical resource expertise by Sheridan's team.

Sheridan's continue to monitor the performance of our lifts and two months on from project completion we are still pleased with the lift refurbishment and the service provided by Sheridan's.

I would like to confirm that having used Sheridan lifts to refurbish one of our lifts recently how pleased we are with the service received from them. We collected several quotes and I always came back to Sheridan Lifts. From my initial enquiry to the company for a quote I was happy with the level of service and attention received right through to completion.

We had a tight schedule and Tony did everything he could to work with our schedule, ensuring the engineers were here as and when necessary to meet our deadline. The work was completed on time and on budget. We had regular contact to discuss progress.
