What’s the most awkward lift encounter you’ve ever had? Was it maybe with a co-worker who you don’t get on with? A neighbour who you don‘t get on with? Or maybe even an ex-boyfriend or girlfriend who you haven’t seen for a while?
For one man, his most awkward lift experience was probably when he robbed a poor 77-year-old woman of her handbag and then couldn’t get out of the lift. Very awkward indeed. Thankfully, the victim wasn’t harmed and even managed to politely ask for her mobile phone back whilst she was stuck in the lift with her mugger. Unfortunately, she didn’t get it back and the man got out on the fourth floor and escaped down the stair well.
Daylight robbery happens a lot when it comes to lifts, especially with lift maintenance with people paying too much for the service. Companies get stung with their lift maintenance costs because they are kept a little in the dark about what it entails. Some businesses think because they’re paying so much, they must be getting a top notch service, however, this isn’t always the case.
Here at Sheridan Lifts, we are completely open and honest about what our lift maintenance covers and involves. It’s the way we work as a reputable lift company and our prices are extremely fair and competitive. You can’t say fairer than that!
