Stan Sheridan
Founder

The grandfather of our business, father to Tony and grandad to Daniel, Stan Sheridan is the reason we are here today. One of the original lift technicians of his age and a true trailblazer for the industry, Stan and his colleague Peter were the co-founders of our predecessor company P&S Lifts which were later to become Sheridan Lifts. Stan's wisdom, innovacy and vision are what we see in practice here today at Sheridan Lifts. Stan passed away in 1994 and will be forever remembered as our daily inspiration to go one step better.

Tony Sheridan
Managing Director

Son of Stan, Tony Sheridan has been in the industry for over 40 years, working his way up from apprentice level where he was tutored by his father immediately after leaving school. Tony formed Sheridan Lifts in 2004 to utilise the family name and has been managing director here ever since, driving the business forward with his vision and ambitious plans for expansion. Our outstanding reputation is born from the high standards expected by Tony. A fully trained lift technician, Tony retains a hands-on approach and is always available to help and support the team.

Daniel Sheridan
Director

A successful entrepreneur and son of Tony, Daniel has been at the company since leaving high school, beginning as an apprentice and progressing to a fully qualified lift engineer. Daniel came into the office after 7 years on the tools and now oversees the overall day to day operations for Sheridan Lifts, directing the customer service department, accounts, new lift/maintenance sales teams and our service and marketing department. Daniel’s responsibility is to drive and lead the growth of the company and maintain our reputation as the number one lift company in the UK.

Chris Chadwick
Service Director

Overseeing the staff in our service department, Chris' expertise and passion for his job are infectious. Just look at that smile! Looking after our maintenance and repairs department requires skill, sensitivity and dedication as well as some outstanding customer service skills - Chris has all of these characteristics in abundance. Chris is responsible for all service delivery and revenue as well as managing our entire collection of field engineers. Having joined us in 2011 Chris is the go-to man for all repair and minor modernisation quotes for existing clients.

Nick Beetson
Sales Director (New Lifts)

Feel the Beet! Nick heads up our sales department and assists with the progression and growth of the business. His main area of work concerns the construction and development of new lifts and he is regularly out on site at one of our many new and existing customer locations. Nick joined the business in 2011 and has therefore seen the business grow steadily in recent years. Commenting on his role, Nick says “It’s a great company to work for with strong aspirations to become a much larger operation, which we are all striving to achieve”

Joe Alexopoulos
Senior Project Manager

Son in law to Tony Sheridan, Joe is known for his outstanding lift knowledge, he regularly fixes lift problems for customers by directing them over the telephone! Joe manages the team here and his role kicks in as soon as a sale has been made. With excellent client relationship skills, Joe looks after contractors, sub-contractors and installers to the point of handover to the end client. Having joined the business in 2010, Joe is a long serving member of staff and is also fluent in Greek, ideal for him liaising with one of our key industry suppliers who are based in Greece.

Adele Ince
New Lifts Sales Manager

Adele has been at Sheridan Lifts since 2013 and her day to day role is to ensure the new lifts department is running smoothly and quotations are sent out on time. Beginning here as a lead generator, Adele’s role now dictates that she is out most of the time either measuring shafts and getting information required to source a quotation, meeting up with clients, compiling pre-contracts and building working relationships. Her interests out of work are the gym and fitness, she also has 2 girls and loves family days out and spending time with them.

Georgina Vickers
Sales Executive (New Lifts)

Georgina is our new lifts sales executive covering the south of England, focusing principally on lifts of up to 5 stops. Georgina is often to be seen on the road and at construction sites and is well versed in one to one negotiations and has fantastic customer service experience. She joined the team earlier this year and is enjoying the day to day challenges of her role and looking ahead to a long career with Sheridan Lifts. "Since joining Sheridan Lifts I really feel part of the family, and I can't wait to align my ambition with the business progression here"

Steve Smith
Sales Executive

Steve joined our expanding business in 2018 and brings with him a wealth of experience of the lift industry and has previously worked for a major lift manufacturer in Otis. Originally from the South West, Steve boasts sound product knowledge and excellent organisational and customer service skills. Steve is responsible for sales in the Midlands and the south of the country and he is looking forward to a fruitful career here at Sheridan Lifts. "I really enjoy the personal touch that Sheridan Lifts have with their clients and being part of a growing lift company"

Chris Grailey
Lift Service Sales Manager

Chris has been with us since 2015 starting off as a Lead Generator; he now meets prospective clients, providing information on exactly who we are and what we do, whilst also attending sites, conducting surveys on existing conditions and providing quotations with the view of bringing them on board as a Sheridan Lifts customer. “The best thing about Sheridan Lifts is knowing the service we provide is the best on the market today. And it is always worthwhile going the extra miles as the work we put in goes a long way to ensuring the needs of the client are met"

Mike Kilcourse
General Manager

Mike has been with the business even before Sheridan Lifts became Sheridan Lifts in 2004! He is our loyal General Manager and he brings a wealth of experience to the table. Overseeing all of our accounts and finances, there’s very little Mike doesn’t get involved in! From managing fleet services, trackers and cost comparisons to sorting company mobile phones, Mike is the man to see if you need something actioning! “I take pleasure in seeing how the business has grown over the years, knowing that I’ve played a part in contributing to the success of the company” he said.

Sarah McHale
Accounts Manager

Sarah has been with us for 11 years, first starting on reception; she now looks after accounts, which includes paying our suppliers, liaising with customers and their accounts, and compiling monthly forecasts. She is now also PA to the Director Tony Sheridan. When Sarah first joined us, there was just two other members of staff and 3 engineers. We now have more than 50 people on our payroll and she has seen the company grow and grow over the years. “We can only get stronger as a company, I’m excited to see what the next few years will bring” Sarah said.

Chris Jones
Marketing Manager

With a background in SEO, campaign marketing and social media, Chris is responsible for overseeing our website quality and performance, tracking leads through to sale. Liaising closely with the business directors, Chris leads our marketing department with an aim of building and developing our brand via both his creative and technical input. Commenting on his role Chris says “Sheridan Lifts is a great place to work and its always a challenge keeping up to speed with things like Google algorithms and updates. Keeps me on my toes!”

Amanda Woodruff
Receptionist

The lovely Amanda! Who better to oversee the busy, often hectic reception desk here at Sheridan Lifts than Amanda, who retains a lovely, reassuringly calm manner! Amanda deals with the large number of enquiries, phone calls and correspondence that come into the office on a daily basis. Amanda is a dedicated, enthusiastic and brilliant receptionist - her organisational and administration skills are always tested to the limit, but she still manages to go about her days with a smile, and that’s why we all love her!

Lisa Sheridan
Service Account Manager

Youngest daughter of Tony Sheridan, Lisa began working for the business in 2012 and is our Service Account Manager, acting as a key contact between ourselves and our clients. With fantastic organisational skills, Lisa deals with our engineers on a daily basis and is responsible for booking in call outs and planning maintenance routes as well as assisting in our overall service delivery. Lisa is a family orientated girl with two young children and she enjoys spending time with her family as well as a range of sports.

Natalie Alexopoulos
Customer Service Manager

Eldest daughter of Tony Sheridan and senior member of four Sheridan siblings, Natalie has been at the company since 2014 and is the go to person for all of our customer service enquiries. Being extremely adept with our clients and ensuring that our many projects run smoothly, Natalie's role is pivotal to our outstanding company reputation being enhanced through her excellent client management and liaison skills. Married to Joe, Natalie has three young children and enjoys family days out in her spare time.

With our headquarters in Manchester, the North West is the core of our business focus and we have key clients in Liverpool, Widnes, Chester, Manchester and the surrounding areas. But we aren’t just restricted to the North West. You’ll see our vans travelling up and down the country, we have clients and offices in London and Birmingham and operate fully across the UK. October 2018 will see us fit a brand new lift in a hugely prestigious London city centre location.

Our History & Ethos

Our family run business was founded in 1979 by Stanley Sheridan, one of the original trailblazers for the passenger lift industry and someone we are immensely proud of, drawing inspiration from his vision on a daily basis. Sheridan Lifts is now run and managed by father and son team Anthony and Daniel Sheridan. Collectively, the Sheridan family can boast 40 years of experience within the lift industry and even today we remain true to our core principles of outstanding product care, knowledge and implementation aligned with first class customer service.
