We are delighted to announce that as of November 1st 2019 we will take over the residential lift maintenance contract for Rochdale Borough Council.
This is a huge achievement for Chris Grailey and our lift maintenance team here so congratulations to the department, we can’t wait to get started! Maybe this might even mean that Chris might buy us all a pint, although that’s maybe unlikely!
The contract is for 200+ units over the next four years and comprises all different types of residential lifts from stairlifts to through floor lifts. We were awarded this contract after a 3-month tender process and we will be taking over from Manchester Working in due course.
Our Managing Director Tony Sheridan comments:
“This contract win comes on the back of the contracts and community work we already do for both Manchester City Council and One Manchester Housing Association, so we are naturally delighted to have secured Rochdale”
“As a business we are extremely well equipped to look after these units and this marks another milestone in a great year for our lift maintenance department”
This contract requires careful handling at all stages. As such, we have appointed a dedicated, specialist Key Account Manager for this contract which is our very own Lewis Gordon. Lewis is an extremely popular member of our team who has undertaken extensive training and brings with him a wonderful, caring manner to add to his professional and meticulous approach. He is sure to be a big hit with the residents.
“I’m really looking forward to taking on this challenge for and on behalf of the tenants of Rochdale Borough Council” Lewis enthused.
We know they will certainly be in safe hands.
Here at Sheridan’s, not only are all of our engineers highly trained and skilled, they are also great with people and have high levels of tact and diplomacy at all times, which is especially important when working in sensitive environments. Each engineer is of course CRB checked as standard.
Everyone at Sheridan Lifts looks forward to a long and fruitful partnership with Rochdale Borough Council.
