Here at Sheridan Lifts, we perform a multitude of lift refurbishments across the UK. One of the most recent lift modernisation jobs we’ve undertaken is with The Prince Trust in Salford, which helps young people between the ages of 13 and 25 years, work towards their personal goals. Through a free and fun, personal development programme, The Princes Trust Salford, equips young people in Salford, Manchester, Tameside, Trafford and Stockport with the tools they need to move forward with their life.
We’re working to complete lift modernisation in their building to ensure they can offer the best possible service for their staff and the people that visit the centre.
The programme they offer starts with a five day Access course where young people get to dive into outdoor adventure activities, plus a residential trip; including one-to-one support to hone and develop skills that will give them the confidence to move forward. Once the course has finished there is a choice of specific activities such as sports, photography or cooking.
Being such a progressive and forward thinking organisation means that they need to have the tools at their disposal to adequately portray this which is why we’re taking care of their lift modernisation. No one wants to be stuck in the past when it comes to their lifts!
