New lift maintenance contract acquired – The KCOM Stadium, Hull

We have some exciting news here at Sheridan Lifts, and the clue is in the title of this article!

Our Lifts Service Sales Manager Chris Grailey has secured this superb client for Sheridan Lifts who were in need of a reliable and customer focused lift maintenance company. You can meet Chris and the rest of the team by taking a look at our about us page.

As you may know, Hull’s impressive KCOM Stadium is the home of Hull City Tigers Football Club and Hull FC Rugby League Club. It is also a leading choice in the city for events, conferences, meetings and banqueting parties.

Located close to both the M62 and the A63, the stadium’s current capacity is just over 25,500 with future expansion possible to raise the capacity to 30,000. Designed like an asymmetrical bowl, this is an aesthetically pleasing arena that also houses an indoor sports venue featuring two all weather pitches.

In terms of our responsibilities on site, Sheridan Lifts are employed to service and maintain all 7 of the internal lifts within the ground. This includes 4 service visits per year over a long-term contract.

Fans can also rest assured, as part of our service agreement sees us providing match day cover in which an engineer is based on site per game in case of any lift related emergency with any spectators.

Sheridan Lifts secured this contract following a cost effective and efficient tender submission in October 2018.

Following this we have provided the client with efficient dilapidation reports on each lift to determine the exact state of disrepair of each lift in order to improve performance due to severe historic breakdowns.

We are now working with the client to remedy those issues and are looking forward to a fruitful future partnership together.
