Sheridan Lifts chosen for lift installation project

I’m pleased to let you know that Sheridan Lifts have been chosen by our client MCR Property Group to carry out lift installation works in Bristol where Block 3 of the Parkview Campus will be transformed into residential living.

If you haven’t used us before, you should know that Sheridan Lifts have three main areas to our business. Lift installation where we install brand new lifts (and shafts if necessary) from scratch or replace old lifts with new, within existing shafts. Then we have our 24 hr lift repairs team who work closely with our lift maintenance team who focus on service contracts.

This isn’t the first project we have carried out in Bristol recently and once completed will form part of our portfolio alongside the works carried out at brand new David Lloyd Gymnasium in Emerson’s Green.

Back on subject where 162 one and two bedroom apartments will occupy this large building on the campus formerly used by the college. The lift we are installing here is a single, 8 person electro traction passenger lift with stainless steel finish and two panel side opening mechanism.

The surrounding area of the development has seen changes too with a cinema and hospital, offices, a healthcare centre and some light industrial units added in recent years. There’s great transport links too with motorways, railway stations and Bristol International Airport all within close proximity.

Prospective residents will also have access to Hengrove Mounds nature reserve which is in walking distance of the development. Discussing the redevelopment was Harry Ladds, asset manager at MCR Property Group:

“Bristol is a metropolitan hub of thriving residential and business communities. “We aim to transform this acquisition into high-quality apartments that meet rising demand from first time buyers and young professionals. When complete, Parkview will be the cornerstone for residential development in the area.”

We are anticipating our works to begin on this project in late March 2020, and I’ll keep you fully updated with site pictures and news when I have it.
