Here at Sheridans we never rest on our laurels. The world of lift engineering moves at quick pace, so we invest a good deal of time in the training and re-training of our engineers and technicians.
Recently we told you about our large scale contract win, taking on over 430 lift units for Stockport Homes. As part of that win we ran refresher courses for our engineers who would be working on this account.
We felt it was vital that our commercial engineering team, Alex W (in photos), Darren J, Dave M and Joe S had some refresher training on the domestic assets across the local districts. These included stairlifts, ceiling lifts, hoists, steplifts and bath hoists.
There’s that old saying that you can never know too much, and the moment you think you do, something will crop up to really stump you! For that reason these refresher courses are ideal for our engineers to learn of any changes on policy or procedure that they might need for their future lift servicing.
