Two completed jobs handed over

Greetings everyone from all the guys here at Sheridan’s.

Things are showing no signs of letting up here with lift installations taking place up and down the country and we’re continuing to add to our portfolio of impressive clients in respect of lift maintenance, too.

But for today, I’ve got a couple of newly completed projects to bring you up to speed with. And both are actually pretty local to our head office here in Manchester.

Firstly, on behalf of our client Cruden Construction, Sheridan Lifts have recently completed the rip out of two old lifts and installation of two brand new ones at Ontario House in Greater Manchester.

Occupying a prime position on the Quays, installation of these new lifts forms part of a wider refurbishment programme at this prestigious office address.

The two lifts provided are our “SL635 Impact” which is a high-quality machine roomless (MRL) traction lift fully compliant with the Lift Directive 2014/33/EU. Each lift holds 8 passengers and here they are taking pride of place within Ontario House.

The lifts have now been fitted and handed over to the client.

The second project to mention is actually not too dissimilar, over at Gateway House on Styal Road in Wythenshawe. These offices are ideally situated close to the M60 and M56 motorways and in perfect location for Manchester Airport which is less than a mile away.

Here we have fitted a single, 10 person passenger lift at this address which forms part of a larger business park, where there are units available for rental. I actually mentioned this office project in a previous blog post just a few weeks ago here.

Well, as you can see from the below, the lifts are now fully installed and have been tested and were handed over just yesterday to our client The Emerson Group.
